Hey, good to see you, come on in, Can I help you find something it's a mouth full but when you come in our door it's pretty close to what you'll hear. This is Deb, Deb's Flowers and Stuff is where I hang out and this little opening is why.

When I was a kid my Mom was a florist but she started years before that. Her first summer job was in Brighton ,Colorado at Tanaka Farms as a florist . She has said more than once "it gets in your blood, once a florist always a florist" of course as all kids I argued and said more than once "no way!" . But after fighting the inevitable for years I guess we would have to say she's right (ouch) but as you all know it happens sooner or later.

I started in the corporate side in a grocery store flower shop, and enjoyed many of the benefits that the corporation offered. For many customers this is the perfect answer a cash and carry, in and out kind of thing. But for me it only made me relise how different a stand alone shop really is, many folks have decided that a flower shop is an outdated idea, what they don't  relise is the point of a florist is to become a part of the family, being there in the good or the bad times, one call away from flowers for a birthday or anniversary  a retirement or a death. Today we are all so busy with just living we have lost  the little things that used to be so normal, now we think of remembering to send flowers as the extra mile but the reality is it should be a normal everyday kind of thing.

As the industry has grown into this new cash and carry,1-800 mode we have lost the skills and the pricing to help the customers that need us, so many of them have dropped out of the practice.

At Deb's we want them back, we want them back! We want the phone call at the last minuet or we could call and remind you, we can look up an address for you and we can even make sure it's on time or even early.

I'v heard stories more than once about things not making it for the service, no flowers for the wedding, it died the next day or it just wasn't what we ordered at all. Most of these problems can be avoided, and if they can't the customer is always right. I would rather you be happy and tell others than disappointed and telling others. There is no perfection in this world but there is passion for the job and commitment to the customer old fashion maybe but still out there!
